All membership cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions of the original Membership Agreement signed at the time of enrollment. Please review your agreement carefully before submitting a cancellation request.
Members must provide at least 30 days’ written notice prior to the expiration of their original Membership Agreement if they intend to cancel at the end of the agreement term.
A cancellation request received less than 30 days before the agreement expiration date does not satisfy the required notice period and will result in the next month’s tuition being charged in accordance with the Membership Agreement.
We strongly recommend submitting your cancellation request early enough to allow the full 30-day notice period.
Memberships are agreements for the specific term selected and accepted at enrollment. Early cancellation is not permitted except under the specific circumstances expressly provided for in the original Membership Agreement.
Requests for early cancellation that do not qualify under one of the provisions contained in the Membership Agreement will be denied, and the member will remain financially responsible for all tuition, fees, and other amounts due for the remainder of the agreement term.
Stopping attendance, removing or replacing a payment method, disputing a scheduled payment, or verbally notifying an instructor or staff member does not constitute cancellation of the Membership Agreement or eliminate the member’s financial obligations under the agreement.
Members are responsible for satisfying all financial obligations associated with their Membership Agreement.
Any unpaid tuition, fees, or other outstanding balances may be referred to Business Services and/or a third-party collection service for recovery. Additional fees, costs, or other charges may be assessed when permitted under the terms of the original Membership Agreement.
Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically terminate the membership or agreement. A cancellation becomes effective only after all applicable requirements of the Membership Agreement have been satisfied and the cancellation has been processed by Charles Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Mountain House.
Before submitting a request, please review your original Membership Agreement to confirm:
Your original agreement expiration date
Your required cancellation notice period
Any remaining tuition or financial obligations
Any provisions that may apply to an early cancellation request
The terms of the signed Membership Agreement control and supersede this webpage if there is any difference or inconsistency between this summary and the original agreement.
