  1. Behavioral Expectations:
    • Listen attentively to instructors.
    • Respect fellow students during training and interactions.
    • Follow dojo rules and guidelines.
  1. Disciplinary Steps:
    • First Instance: Verbal Warning. The instructor will explain the inappropriate behavior and remind the child of the expected behavior.
    • Second Instance: Time-Out. The child will be given a brief time-out from the activity to reflect on their behavior.
    • Third Instance: Parental Involvement. The instructor will discuss the child’s behavior with the parents or guardians to seek their support in rectifying the behavior.

  1. Parental/Guardian Conduct:
    • Parents and guardians are encouraged to discuss behavior and discipline with their children.
    • Coaching from the sidelines is prohibited to maintain a well-disciplined and focused environment.
    • Parents should focus on positive reinforcement at home, with fun activities that include skills learned in class.
  1. Instructor’s Role:
    • Instructors will apply discipline consistently and fairly.
    • Positive behavior will be acknowledged and praised.
    • Instructors will communicate any serious behavioral issues with the academy's management and the child's parents or guardians.
  1. Special Considerations:
    • Children with special needs or behavioral issues will be given consideration and support tailored to their situation.
  1. Zero Tolerance:
    • There is zero tolerance for bullying, physical violence, or verbal abuse. Such behaviors may result in immediate suspension.
  1. Feedback and Resolution:
    • Parents/guardians are welcome to provide feedback or discuss concerns regarding disciplinary actions with the academy's management.

Review and Amendments:

  • This policy will be reviewed annually and amended as necessary to ensure it remains effective and relevant to our academy’s ethos and the needs of our students.
